What's a good GPS unit

I suck at finding places. I'm looking for no frills GPS. Idc about it doing anything other then saying turn left and getting me where I wana go. The only other thing I might consider is traffic report type deal to avoid a traffic jam, but only if it works. I've never used this stuff before, so I have no idea what's a good brand.

Make sure the map stays facing north or has an option to turn it on if you buy a gps system. This is the most important feature imo

I would suggest Garmin. I like Garmin its what I have, its very easy to use and they have all types of models to choose from. some are crazy advanced and have all the bells and whistles and some are what you are looking for, tell you to turn and what street name.

Got my wife and I from TX to OH and didn't get lost (we even took a few back roads that it navigated with ease). I'd highly recommend it.
