Team speak 3 Server is now up

I always found it odd TS nvr had features vent had since it came out. It's about damn time it had phonetics for peoples names when they enter the server, and ability to adjusts others output individually.

They also added a proper options interface. The old one looked like the guy who made it was on crack. Another nice feature I noticed was the ability to log all PM's channel and server chat.

A very cool feature I have not seen on vent is a warning telling you your mic is muted if you try to talk while it's muted. Idk how many times I've done that.

I notice the sound setting by default is set to a higher quality higher bandwidth, its on Automatically use the best mode by default. You had to change it in TS2 manually to the higher bandwidth one for better sound quality. Now everyone is defaulted to the best mic and speaker quality sound their computer can put out. I think this is why the sound seems better for everyone.

Overall, it seems solid. I like it very much.


Edit: I am having one issue. I saw we were allowed to add avatars. It seems to be a common issue where admins can add the avatar, but not normal users. The normal users just get the invalid size error over and over. Maybe these threads will help. BTW, the photo is 8kb

New Beta out. Avoid updating until who knows when the TS server gets the server update. If you accidentally did upgrade to the newest TS3 beta, just install beta20 again and everything should be fine.
